🏡 Room in Shared Central Apartment in Gävle Beautiful, bright and spacious room (20 m²) in the very heart of the city, available furnished from mid-December. Ideal for a student or weekly commuter who enjoys a friendly and relaxed shared home environment. 🏠 The Apartment The room is part of a 4-room apartment in a unique, well-preserved turn-of-the-century building with a cozy courtyard and walking distance to shops, cafés, library, and cinema. It has a comfortable 120 cm bed, desk, plenty of storage space, and a working tiled stove. Electricity and high-speed internet are included. Shared kitchen, dining room, and bathroom (with shower). Laundry facilities are available in the courtyard. 👩‍👦 About Us I’m Cathrine – a social, creative woman in midlife, working with sustainability and communication. My interests include travel, nature, skiing, animals, culture, interior design, and heritage buildings. I enjoy good films and 70s rock music. I live with my son Elias, 19, who is finishing high school (social science program). He enjoys karate, strength training, classical music, theatre, and spending time with friends. We’re used to living with lodgers and enjoy a warm, respectful atmosphere at home. We speak Swedish, English and German (Cathrine). Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for an easygoing, positive person who enjoys a bit of everyday company – chatting in the kitchen, cooking or watching a movie together once in a while – but who also values privacy and can sense when others need their own space. You’re tidy, considerate, and willing to take part in cleaning shared spaces (we usually have a 30-minute shared cleaning session once a week, plus a spring and autumn clean).You study or work, are non-smoking, and are probably around 20–30 years old. Dogs are welcome 🐶 (we love animals), but unfortunately no cats due to allergies. And – a sense of humor is always appreciated!
